Sing as a round.
1) TRA-LA! It's July .. When the fireflies fly ..
And the bees 'round the posies is buzzin'!
A thousand zucchini grow MONSTROUS or teeny ..
And the fuzz on the peaches is fuzzin'!
2) A hen from Millinocket says, "BUCK-BUCK-BAU-KAUCKET!"
As she lays her eggs any old place!
You take line and hook to the Megunticook,
And you rub cocoa butter on your face. OH!
3) Later, you sit around .. and watch ..
The sun go KER-SPLASH, as it plumply plops down!
Then, you go skinny-dip once more, and then you ..
Can diddle on your fiddle, or your ka .. zoo!
4) On the honeysuckle bower, the moonlight sits!
And it's .. time for hugs and snuggles,
And so you meet your lover sweet ..
Down by the cauliflower,
To pick off the snails and potato bugs!
(Variations on these four parts throughout!)
