Doorknob (Be Nice to Your ..)

Be nice to your doorknob
It is your special friend
For when you feel like company
Your doorknob lets them in ..
But, if you'd rather be alone
You can hang a sign upon it
Says, won't you come back later, please
I'm busy eating magic peas
Or counting several spider's knees
Or listening to a zucchini sneeze
Or .. making up a sonnet.
Be nice to your doorknob
Doorknobs have lots of hope in 'em
'Cause, when all the doors seem hopelessly shut
Doorknobs know how to open 'em ..
And, if you'd rather be alone
You can hang a sign upon it
That says, won't you come back later, please
I'm busy eating magic peas
Or counting several spider's knees
Or listening to a zucchini sneeze
Or .. making up a sonnet.
Be nice to your doorknob
It is your special friend
'Cause when you feel like company
Your doorknob lets them in ..
But, if you'd rather be alone
You can hang a sign upon it
That says, won't you come back later, please
I'm busy eating magic peas
Or counting several spider's knees
Or listening to a zucchini sneeze
Or .. making up a sonnet.
