This was originally an essay .. written by Emy J., 5 or 6.
The school assignment .. was to "write about your family." Emy called
her essay .. MY MOM AND DAD. I asked her if I could put a
tune to it .. and she said I could.

1. My mom and dad are very nice people.
We live in a house on Elmwood St .. #946.
It's a big white house, in Los Angeles, California.
2. My mom and dad are very nice people.
Oh .. except sometimes .. oh .. once in a while
they hurt me into pieces!
And I get so mad .. I would like to smash them into turnips!
3. But, I love them so much. I would like to kiss them
and kiss them and kiss them and kiss them and kiss them
and if they never made me eat hard boiled eggs again
I would love them forever
until tomorrow.
