SONG FOR ZULA .. This Christmas tape is dedicated to ZULA HILL .. who finally .. at 102 .. got her wish and broke free! I wrote this song three years ago when I was going to visit Zula every week at the Camden Nursing Home. Her spirit .. her humor .. her get-up-and-go .. were all gummed up inside some stranger's unreasonable and frail body that galled her to no end!! It's a song of love and encouragement. I never sang it to her. I've kept it mostly to myself. I'll sing it now .. to you Zula .. with love.
